๐ After Receiving Your Invitation to Apply (ITA)
Once you enter the pool for the International Experience Canada (IEC) program, you may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA). Getting this invitation is your chance to move forward with the actual work permit application. It’s exciting, but it also means you need to be organized and act quickly.
✅ Steps to Follow

Accept the Invitation

Log into your IRCC account → check your invitation → you must accept it within 10 days.

If you don’t accept, you lose the opportunity and must wait for another draw.

Complete Your Application

Once accepted, you have 20 days to complete and submit your online application.

Provide personal details, passport information, education/work history, and family information.

Upload Required Documents

Passport copy

Digital photo (biometric standard)

Police certificate (issued in English)

Resume (CV)

Medical exam (if required)

Pay the Fees

you need to pay the fees such as IEC participation fee, Biometrics fee etc.

Biometrics Appointment

You’ll receive an email instruction to give fingerprints and a photo at a Visa Application Centre (VAC).

Wait for Processing

Processing may take weeks or months.

If approved, you’ll receive a Port of Entry (POE) Letter, which you must present when entering Canada to receive your work permit.
